Hostal Riesserkopfhütte Garmisch

Our hostel is situated right in the middle of the Garmisch skiing resort near the famous downhill slope Kandahar.You can start skiing directly from the hotel area.Lake Riessersee and the bob run of the Olympic winter games in 1936 are below the hut. Our region is ideal for skiing, hiking and mountain biking. The Partnachklamm and the Hölltalschlucht near the lodge are beautiful alpine sights and a must see for all nature friends.For all travelers interested in German culture many sights build mainly by King Ludwig are near the lodge or reachable within a daytrip. Those for example: Castle Neuschwastein, Castle Linderhof, The Abbay Kloster EttalThe glacier of Zugspitze is also reachable within only one hour ride by zugspitzbahn cable car.
